What time can I check in?

Check in is from 3:00pm onwards, and departure is by 10:00am. Please note: due to the changes we have had to implement with the coronavirus, we cannot accommodate early arrivals and late departures.

Can I bring my dog?

Up to two well-behaved dogs are allowed in the Kennelman Cottage. All other cottages are pet free.

Are toiletries provided?

All bathrooms have body wash, shampoo and hand soap provided.

Are towels and bed linen provided?

Each bedroom has two sets of bath and hand towels, fitted cotton sheets, 13.5 tog duvet, and two soft and two medium pillows.

Can I recharge my car?

A car charging point is available and easy to use. We issue a unique fob that allows the point to charge your car whilst logging charge time and KWH used, which are then charged to you at the prevailing rate.

Is there anywhere that I can store my bike?

A stone-built cycle room is provided to safely store your bicycle with secured access and monitored alarm for added security. Lockers are also provided, and a “Bike Fix Station” is available to help repair your bike or inflate your tyres. Items left at owners risk.

Are there car parking spaces available?

There is ample car parking space next to each cottage.

Is there Wifi?

All cottages have free superfast broadband.

Its a special occasion, can we celebrate with fireworks?

Unfortunately not. We do ask that no fireworks or Chinese lanterns are used during your stay. Our properties are all located in quiet, peaceful areas, and we do not wish to disturb the wildlife that share our estate with us.

Are there shops nearby?

There is a service station within walking distance (We know it as “Harrods of Powburn”) with an excellent range of groceries and quality local produce. There is also an Antiques Centre.

Is there a local bus service?

There is a service provided by Glen Valley Tours, see link for timetable.

Where are the nearest towns?

Wooler 8.9 miles away, Alnwick 10.5 miles away, Rothbury 11.6 miles away
